AI for AutoCAD users: the drawing workspace for your AI

AutoCAD is closed desktop software, and general AI assistants can't work natively inside it. ArchiScale fills that gap: it's a drawing workspace built for AI, so the assistant you already use has somewhere to draw, with Victorian ResCode judgment built in.

How the round trip works

  1. Give your AI your file: DXF or SketchUp (convert DWG to DXF first).
  2. It runs the ResCode check (Clause 55 for townhouses and units, Clause 54 for houses) and reports pass or fail per standard, with what to fix.
  3. It proposes the changes; nothing is committed until a named architect approves them.
  4. Plans, elevations, sections and 3D all update from the one model.
  5. It hands back the drawing set as DXF, and you finish in AutoCAD the way your office already works.

Why not just add AI to AutoCAD?

A chat assistant can describe a change, but it can't check it against ResCode or redraw every sheet. ArchiScale gives the AI the drawing model and the rules, so it can do the work and show you the result before you approve it.

Any AI assistant

ArchiScale runs an MCP server, so any AI assistant that supports MCP can use it. How to connect.

FAQ

Does ArchiScale run inside AutoCAD?No. It's a separate drawing workspace for your AI. It reads DXF and SketchUp and hands back DXF to finish in AutoCAD.
Can it read DWG?Not directly. Save or convert the DWG to DXF first.
